Frequently Asked Questions
How long do you stay for on our wedding day?
I tend to stay from morning preparations through to the first dance, although this is negotiable depending on the structure of your day. My best selling coverage options I stay for roughly 10 hours. I never wheel spin away from a wedding and tend to pack away slowly and grab a drink before saying my goodbyes.
What equipment do you use?
I use different equipment for different assignments; my go-to wedding set-up is normally two Sony full-frame cameras with 2 prime lenses and a zoom lens. I also use flashguns where necessary, although I have carefully chosen my equipment to minimise the photographer presence - My cameras shoot completely silently!
Do you photograph weekday weddings?
Yes!
Do you carry spare equipment?
Always. The number one rule of photography club.
Do you offer hard-copy albums as well as an online gallery?
I sure do! Please enquire and I'd be happy to provide a break-down of the products I have available.
I hate posing for photos, do I have to pose?
You and me, both! If you want some form of portraiture, let’s take a walk. We’ll find some flattering lighting and have a giggle, but nothing forced. Top tip - trying not to laugh tends to make people laugh. I pride myself making things as natural as possible for you.
What happens if it’s raining?
We embrace it! I love shooting in the rain; often, it makes for the most enjoyable and memorably weddings. If you’re still not convinced, I have several white umbrellas that come to every wedding with me. Don’t worry - I’ve got you covered.
How long until we get our pictures after the wedding?
I aim for a three-four week turn-around, although this can be more like five during peak season.
